GPS Tracking – All prime movers have the state of the art GPS tracking system that ensures we provide consistency in our deliveries as well as transparency to our customers. This system has the ability to track driver speed, monitors its location and the route it has taken, driver fatigue evidence as well as the operation of the vehicle.
Speed Alert – Each prime mover has factory installed speed sensors which can be set to alert drivers when their speed is in excess of 100 kilometres an hour. As well, the technology associated with the GPS Tracking system enables the drivers to set alerts to advise drivers when they exceed the maximum speed limit. A buzzer sound will continue to alert the driver of excessive speed until the vehicle has reduced its speed to under 100 kilometres an hour. Excessive speed can be reported using this innovative system and disciplinary action can take place with the driver. Northko Pty Ltd promote safe driving and will not accept excessive speed for any journey or any driver.
Delivery Portal – Recent implementation has seen all deliveries and consignments move from pen and paper to electronical means. With iPads installed in all prime movers, this enables drivers to have information of their deliveries in real time, the ability to make amendments on the spot and a multi use platform to capture information from one source to provide valuable assistance in the reduction of manual administration hours.
The instant capture of data gives us the ability to create a universe of data that in turn provides a wealth of data and analytical reporting to meet business and contractual KPI’s.
